Soca Season

2023

Feathers, glitter, and loads of ‘spirits’! Don your head dress and your best vibes and join us on the road for Carnival. As one of the longest standing Carnival groups in Jamaica, Frenchmen continues to set the standards and pave the way for the newer bands while adding flair and bacchanal to the ever growing Carnival.

The Frenchmen carnival experience kicks off with three French Lymes, a tantalizing tasting of what is to come. The first lyme, Rise Up, is the ultimate breakfast party with the backdrop of the sunrise. Patrons gather beachside in Ocho Rios, to start the day, and carnival season, off right, getting their vitamin C with a fresh mimosa and Vitamin Sea from the epic ocean view. We then kick off Carnival Week with Blocko on Carnival Thursday – Jamaica’s only Carnival street dance in Jacks Hill. We continue to build the excitement with our last fete Bazodee that happens on the eve of the Road March.

As the sun rises on Carnival Sunday, our revellers get ready for the culmination of what has been a jam packed week of revelry and excitement. The Frenchmen march, chip, palance and rave down the road behind the most premium trucks Jamaica has to offer.  Fill your mugs with premium alcohol brands, rehydrate with fresh coconut water, palance between the world’s best carnival DJs and stop to refuel with an international and local fusion lunch. Grab your crew, your joi de vivre and leave your troubles, your worries and good behaviour behind!  See you on the road!
